Chesney Pipe Chanter reeds are a very popular reed. These reeds are a ridge cut. Chesney reeds are played by some of the worlds leading pipe bands. They are comparable to the Megarity reed. Formerly known as the Warnock reed.

G1 Platinum reeds are made solely by John Elliott of Scotland, using a combination of traditional and innovative techniques producing a precision reed. The Platinum reeds are crafted to a higher standard than the regular G1s. Each tube of cane is personally hand selected and only the best are deemed acceptable for G1 Platinum's supreme standards.
