G1 Platinum reeds are made solely by John Elliott of Scotland, using a combination of traditional and innovative techniques producing a precision reed. The Platinum reeds are crafted to a higher standard than the regular G1s. Each tube of cane is personally hand selected and only the best are deemed acceptable for G1 Platinum's supreme standards. The cane is sourced from top cane growers in France and Spain depending on the season. It is then treated and prepared in a highly skilled process. All reeds are pre-tested and individually tested.
